Myers-Briggs is a personality type model that looks at your most comfortable and natural way of taking in information from the world and making decisions.

Myers-Briggs Preference Pairs

Myers-Briggs is broken down into four either/or preference pairs.

The first, Introversion (I) vs. Extraversion (E), looks at where you or your child gets their energy: from the inner or outer world.

The second, Sensing (S) vs Intuition (N), looks at how you or your child takes in information from the world: by paying attention to the practical and the details or the big picture and deeper meanings.

The third, Thinking (T) vs Feeling (F), looks at how you or your child makes decisions: by stepping out of or into a situation emotionally.

Finally, Judging (J) vs Perceiving (P), looks at how you or your child approach your outer world: seeking to control it with planning, deciding and organizing, or taking it as it comes by staying open, flexible and spontaneous.

Myers-Briggs Cognitive Functions
