Sandra introduces Susan, an ENTJ lawyer and mom to an 8 year old boy.

Susan talks about her experience as an ENTJ Parent:

  • She makes decisions all day long in her job in law/financial services
  • She considers herself more of a words person than charts/diagrams, although she loves color coding
  • Although she appreciates the information she can glean from a detailed spreadsheet, she is overwhelmed if there is too much detail
  • Her son would say that every morning is a military-style operation to get ready in the morning.
  • Yoga is a really important part of her life, though she does have a hard time not thinking about all the things that need to get done when she sits down on her mat
  • During a recent COVID shut down she really looked at what resources she had for homeschooling her son, and utilized the grandparents to get everything he needed, and by the way, the schedule for that is color-coded!
  • She can be very directional at work and will explain the reasons why but generally needs to be asked
  • She values honesty in conversations with her son as well as explaining some of the more complicated aspects of life
